Meet the Team
Pete has 20 years of experience in the bicycle industry.
Pete has worked and managed various bicycle stores throughout Auckland over the years, along with this Pete has organised and ran BMX Freestyle events and demos at schools and sporting arenas. Pete’s vast knowledge, passion and attention to detail puts him up there with one of the best and well respected bicycle salesman and technicians in New Zealand.
But Pete's ultimate love is BMX. And it doesn't matter if it's an Old School BMX, a Freestyle BMX or BMX Race bike, Pete's into them all!
And if you bring your bike in for Pete to service or repair, he'll look after & treat your bike like it's one of his own!
Bryan is an avid BMX Rider.
Bryan began racing BMX in 1979 when he was a youngster and the sport was just starting out. Bryan is a big part of the BMX Race Community here in NZ and "Joycee" as he is more affectionately known, is a Coach who gives back to the sport he loves. It is love of the sport that makes him the perfect person to come and see about any of your cycling needs. He prides himself in his customer services and after sales service, his workmanship and is happy to talk to you about anything you need. He's always happy to have a chat. And if you need coaching, don't be shy to ask for Bryan, he is one of the best in NZ and Bryan was awarded the BMX Coach of the Year for 2015.
ALEXIS & LUKE
Alexis is the 2nd youngest member of the RAD Team. Over the school holidays you may see Lexi in the shop with Pete, hoovering, dusting and ensuring Pete has a supply of goodies to keep him going during a busy day.
Luke, our baby of the RAD Team has been riding a balance bike since he was 18 months old. At the age of 2 1/2 he started BMX Racing, but like his mum hates crowds, you can’t get him on the track, but when on the track, you can’t get him off it!
And if you’ve visited our store and Luke is in for the afternoon, he’s the little terror whizzing around causing havoc, but you know what?! We wouldn’t have it any other way!
